Job Description:
- Americas working hours third level/product support for BT’s One Cloud Cisco/HCS service
- Owning the resolution of third level/tier 3 product & service issues raised in the Americas
- Follow-The-Sun: Taking over the resolution of critical/high priority Rest of World problems outside of UK working hours
- Consultation with the regional Client Services Designers and Sales Specialists on Americas complex deals ensuring that all non-standard/complex requirements are fully captured, have solutions identified with designs properly costed including delivery resources for customer transformation
- Supporting Client Service delivery teams and GCS on customer deployments
- Working as an extension of the UK based product development and support teams for One Cloud Cisco
- Working closely with the BT One Portfolio team identifying any regional requirements that may impact BT’s ability to provide service in the Americas (regulatory, e911 etc.)

4. Commercial Finance Analyst - Europe
- Supporting the Commercial Finance work stream of a cross-functional bid response team, responsibility for deals to achieve the right outcome for BT and the customer
- Ensuring that bids have been costed and priced accurately and have been thoroughly prepared in accordance with BTGS policy and adhere to the published governance rules.
- Responsible for ensuring associated material financial risks and considerations are captured and communicated to the approval authorities and may support the sales team in customer negotiations and contracting.
- Work closely with global bid teams consisting of sales, technical, service design, legal and product specialists, to accurately price new business proposals in accordance with Customer tender requirements
- Work with bid teams on commercial aspects (for example: delivery penalties, discount structures, billing models and cashflow optimisation, foreign exchange, contract termination provisions) and pricing strategy
- Proactive approach to understanding the basis, underlying assumptions and drivers of BTs offering, ensuring these are aligned with Customer requirements (pricing structures, budget) and clearly communicated in BT offer documents where required
- Preparation and presentation of briefing papers and analysis ensuring decisions are taken in an open and honest way with full transparency of numbers and issues.
- Support initiatives that improve the underlying processes for Commercial & Bid.
Requirement:
- Professional skills:
- Degree level (or equivalent)
- Finance or Business based degree desirable but not essential depending on subsequent experience is an advantage
- Professional Accountancy qualification with post qualification experience or MBA is an advantage
