1. Assistant Manager – Finance & Accounts
 
Job Description/ Requirement:  
  • Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations such as Receivable/Payable, Losses, Unearned premium and Deferred acquisition cost.
  •  Balance sheet & Profit and Loss analysis including Ratio analysis, Policy level analysis, Management data & analysis, commentaries etc.
  • Booking of manual adjustment to incorporate new internal and external re-insurance treaties at group level.
  • Booking of manual adjustment to incorporate legal entity, operating units and other chart fields level restructuring / changes in General Ledger.
  • Preparation of internal ceding treaties reconciliations on monthly & Quarterly basis for US and Europe Legal entities.
  • Booking of manual adjustment to correct ceding percentage changes, Statutory to General ledger reclasses on quarterly basis in Oracle General Ledger.Booking of Post Close Cash Adjustments journals (Including internal / external ceding treaties adjustments) to account for cash transactions that take place after underwriting source systems close to reconcile the bank accounts on quarterly basis in Oracle General Ledger.
  • Assist in quarterly close & reporting process and ensure FIC compliances.
Desired Candidate Profile
  • CA with at least 1-3 years of post-qualification experience in accounting and financial reporting, preferably in IFRS
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal/external teams across the globe.
  • Intermediate IT skills (MS Excel, MS Access, SQL, VBA, Word)
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

3.  Deputy Manager – Financial Planning & Analysis


Job Description/ Requirement: 
  • Work and assist the Ceded Re FP&A Manager in preparing and providing various financial analytics and reporting with focus on quality review, timely delivery of reports, collaboration with other teams and onshore. 
  • Prepare quarterly reports ceded financial dashboards. (Ceded Premium, Commission, Expenses, credit and capital exposure, etc.) 
  • Treaty Placement analysis which results in the changes expected in written & earned premiums. 
  • Exposure analysis with reference to recoverable from major counterparts. 
  • Support in regulatory reporting requirements. 
  • Development and maintenance of existing access databases, excel spreadsheets to improve existing/new reports 
  • Support in quarterly Reforecast and Yearly Budgeting. 
  • Maintaining strong communication with onshore (both written and verbal) and manage expectations. 
  • Keeping the flexibility in reports to incorporate any high level adjustments or structural changes as requested from onshore. 
  • Support and involve in various Ceded Re and MI projects. 
  • Provide backup to core FP&A team and extended reporting team, in time of need. 
  • Ad hoc reports or projects.
Desired Candidate Profile
  • CA/ICWA with 4-6 years or MBA with Commerce background with 6 to 8 yrs. of experience in core FP&A 
  • Strong analytical mindset, structured work approach and high levels of attention to detail. 
  • Strong IT skills (MS Excel, MS Access).
